 The theme this year of the Textile Society of America 11th Biennial Symposium as stated on their website is that "Textiles serve as records of a culture’s history and values. From the work of traditional textile artisans to contemporary artists, the uses, meanings and stories associated with the textile arts provide a wealth of possible expressions."
