 In our blog we plan to feature video clips of weavers and other artisans we will feature here at Laos Essential Artistry. We understand the limitations of selling handwoven textiles on the Internet where one doesn't have the opportunity to visit Laos and see weavers in person and be immersed in their magical world. But give us a chance and we think when you view our photos and video that you too will become a fan of these world-class artisans. In the photo above the daughter of the owner of a small gallery in Nongbouatong is holding an the end panel of antique Tai Daeng head cloth they are using as the pattern for silk scarves we ordered.
